Expect quality care for your pet
When you arrive you will be greeted warmly as we check your pet in. A veterinary nurse will help you weigh your animal and check your details to make sure we have everything correct on your animal’s medical file.
All our consultations are by appointment and we do our best to make sure you are brought into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to make sure all of our patients are seen on time, but there will be times the occasional unexpected delay due to an emergency or because we are providing care for a patient that needs a little more time. Please accept our apologies should this occur, and understand that the same dedication and courtesy will be provided to your pet should they ever need it.
- You will be invited into the consulting room where a veterinarian will then meet you, gather basic information about your pet’s health, examine your pet, talk about any questions or concerns you may have and plan further diagnostics or treatment as needed.
- If further veterinary work (diagnostic, medical or surgical) is recommended, a written estimate of costs can be provided, to help you make realistic decisions about the level of care you require.
- At the end of the consultation, you will be invited to return to the reception desk to collect certificates and medications, to sign consent forms and to finalise your visit fee and book any future appointment.
- Depending on the reason for your visit, you may receive a follow-up call from one of our registered veterinarians to get an update on how your pet has been doing since their visit.
